An important issue in power grid systems is the enhancement of harmonics. Managing the harmonics event and its major impacts on power quality is the focus of this research. It is presented and used as a distributed static synchronous compensator, where AI is used as a novel method of control (DSTATCOM). Reduce and/or attenuate harmonic amplification in power system networks with the help of DSTATCOM, a FACTS device that is capable of achieving very effective reactive power compensation. The MATLAB/Simulink software is used to run simulations and collect results.
